Donna Sarah works with women seeking to explore new possibilities by nurturing

heart and soul to create space encouraging stillness and awareness.

Donna Sarah has studied in the Iyengar tradition since 1998 under the guidance of master teachers.


After completing her E-RYT 200 under the direction of Francois Raoult, internationally-known yoga teacher and a direct student of BKS Iyengar, she expanded her expertise through Basic and Advanced Relax and Renew Teacher Training with Judith Lasater. Donna Sarah incorporates restorative back-care, meditation, sound healing and yoga nidra into her teachings. She is also committed to practicing and teaching mindfulness meditation. She sees the value in incorporating chair yoga into daily practice as a fun, supportive way to increase flexibility and release stress.


Donna Sarah opened Reach Yoga Studio in upstate New York in 2007 to share yoga, meditation, and drum circles with her community, but decided to leave her brick and mortar studio behind to travel, seek further yoga training, and be able to offer a wider reach for her classes. She loves the flexibility of customizing classes to all ability levels and focusing on the needs of each specific client and group.

GO WITH THE FLOW

This class is appropriate for the beginner student as well as the seasoned yogi who would like to slow down their pace. We take time moving in and out of the poses and also take time to look inward and feel the benefits of each pose. Leave feeling energized and stress free.


Happy Hour

During this hour of yoga we will do poses to create space in your mind and help release tension in the body. This class focuses on active and restorative poses. This is an opportunity for the body and nervous system to let go of tightness and transition into a state of rest and relaxation.

Fundamentals and Foundations

Ease Into Yoga to help you build strength, flexibility and relieve stress. The foundation for your yoga practice will be built upon standing poses. This class focuses on the shape of the postures, principles of alignment, utilizing the breath, lines of energy and the language of the practice.

wake up & shine

An integrated mind/body practice of self-transformation that empowers you to realize your full potential. The journey begins as you revitalize the body through postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Learn to focus your awareness in the present space and moment, enabling you to enter meditative states that awakens compassion and clears the mind

at peace

The class is oriented for both beginners with little or no meditation experience and those with a meditation practice, who will gain new techniques and benefit from the group energy. Guided meditations, mindfulness, pranayama, and deep relaxation will be featured.

Feeling yourself pulled in many directions all at once? Slow down to keep up. Allow the occasion for the body to be still and your awareness expansive. Feel the mind loosening its grip on the non-essential, bringing to the forefront clarity and intuitive insight through a state of deep relaxation. An introduction will be followed by guided meditation, silence, and guided relaxation.

Heal & restore

Welcome to this soothing & healing wind-down practice that's perfect for the end of the day, or anytime that you need peaceful practice. We explore and release the legs, groins and hips (whilst paying beautiful attention to breath) ending with cycles of Pranayamic prolonged inspirations. The pace is deliciously gentle and regular. All tensions melt away.
